BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - It's time for new installment of the Hoosiers in the Pros update from @ProBallHoosiers.
In Spring Training action, Padres OF/1B Alex Dickerson is batting .280 with three doubles and two home runs, Giants reliever Jake Dunning has a 1.42 ERA in 6.1 IP over six appearances, and White Sox 2B Micah Johnson (@Micah_Johnson3) is batting .368 in 15 games played.
With the crisis in Ukraine, Marco Killingsworth left BC Donetsk and is playing for Lukoil Academy Sofia in the National Basketball League of Bulgaria. In his 1st game with the team (a 32-point win on Saturday), Killingsworth had 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Cody Zeller (@CodyZeller) has improved for the Charlotte Bobcats as the season has progressed. Since the All-Star break, the Bobcats are 10-5 and Zeller has improved in every statistical category. In NFL free agency news, defensive back Tracy Porter (@TracyPorter) has signed with the Washington Redskins and offensive lineman Rodger Saffold (@Rodger_Saffold) has resigned with the St. Louis Rams. Wide Receiver Tandon Doss (@Tandondoss) just signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The MLS season started off on a great note for Houston Dynamo forward Will Bruin (@wbruin). Bruin scored two goals in the first 13 minutes of the season in the Dynamo opener vs. New England and also scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Montreal on Saturday. He is the only player in the league with three goals.
A couple former Hoosier will be playing for new teams this season. Second-year players Eriq Zavaleta (@_AIR_RIQ_) is on loan to Chivas USA from the Seattle Sounders and Luis Soffner (@louie_soffner) is on loan to the Rochester Rhinos from the New England Revolution.

With his eye on Brazil, 2016, Kind Butler III (@KindButler) was part of the record-setting 4x400 meter relay team that took gold at the world indoor championships in Sopot, Poland on March 8. Butler and his teammates ran their race in 3 minutes, 2.13 seconds, beating the previous world record by .70 seconds.
This past weekend in Los Angeles, CA, Angel Escobedo (@driven2dominate) went 2-0 (a win via technical fall over Sergiy Ratushny of Ukraine and a pin over Nebi Uzun of Turkey) representing the USA at 57 kg. The two victories helped Team USA finish 3rd in the overall standings at the Freestyle Wrestling World Cup.
