 | Position: Assistant Athletic Director for Sport Performance

Amy Freel is in her third season as an assistant athletic director for sport performance at Indiana.
Responsible for developing a comprehensive nutrition program geared toward improving the training, performance and recovery of Indiana's student-athletes.
A registered dietitian and a certified specialist in sports dietetics, Freel spent 2003-10 building the same program at Virginia Tech.
Serves on the Executive Board and is the conference chair for the newly formed Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA).
Received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Ball State University, where she competed in intercollegiate gymnastics for four years.
Amy and her husband, Mike, have four children, Ben, Matt, Ashley and Luke.
