• Andy Hipskind is in his 11th year as team physician for the Indiana football program. He was promoted to assistant athletic director for sports medicine on April 15, 2009. • A 1995 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in biology and a member of the men's track and field team, Hipskind graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1999. • Completed a family practice residency at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind., and a sports medicine fellowship in Philadelphia following graduation. • Owns board certifications in both sports medicine and as a family physician. • Hipskind, a native of Bloomington, Ind., attended Bloomington North High School. • Andy and his wife, Angie, reside in Bloomington with their daughter, Charlize (7) and son, Drew (5). |
