Kelley Riegner is in her first year at Indiana. She is the head athletic trainer for cross country and track and field. Riegner plays a vital role in the success of the IU track and field program, providing everyday treatment and serving as the coordinator of sports medicine at all of IU's home meets.

Prior to arriving in Bloomington, Riegner completed a graduate assistantship at the University of Nevada, working with the cross country and track and field programs from 2008 to 2010. Riegner also worked with the Wolfpack football program while in Reno.

Riegner earned a B.S. in Athletic Training at Slipper Rock University in Pennsylvania in 2008. She completed a M.A. in Educational Leadership at Nevada in 2010. Certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and the State of Indiana, Riegner has worked for the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit three years and works with the Varsity Spirit Corporation's summer camps in the Midwest and Northeast Regions.

Riegner is a native of Cambridge Springs, Pa.
