I'm getting an error using MacOS X. What's the problem?
Currently MacOS X using Windows Media Player is not compatible with the NFL.com Live Audio Player. You may receive one of the following error messages:
    1. "Cannot open the file. Verify that the path and file name are correct and try again"
    2. "Windows Media Player cannot play this file because the Player does not support this codec."

The Live Audio Player is compatible with MacOS 9 using Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape 4.x using the MacOS 9 version of Windows Media Player. At this time we suggest two possible solutions for MacOS X Users:

    1. Launch a MacOS 9 browser in OS X using Classic mode:

    1. Open the Applications (OS 9) folder.
      1. If Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape 4.x is present in this folder then click to launch. Launching an OS 9 application will start up Classic mode (if not already running). An indicator that you are running a Classic application or using Classic mode is the top menu bar on the Desktop has a OS 9 appearance and menu.
      2. If a browser application is not present in this folder then please go to Microsoft or Netscape and download the OS 9 versions of either browser. After downloading copy to the Applications (OS 9) folder and install. If you experience difficulty installing then startup your machine in OS 9 to install.
    2. Use the OS 9 version of the browser to listen to the NFL.com live audio.

The OS 9 browser will also need to have the latest version of Windows Media Player. After downloading copy to the Applications (OS 9) folder and install. If you experience difficulty installing then startup your machine in OS 9 to install.
