• Indiana continued its dominance in turnover margin, forcing three today and not committing any. IU is now plus-9 on the season. The Hoosiers own 11 takeaways (six fumble recoveries, five interceptions) and have turned it over just twice (one fumble, one interception).
• IU has scored 58 points off of its opponents 11 turnovers.
• Redshirt sophomore linebacker Marcus Oliver stripped Jalin Marshall at the Indiana 7-yard line in the second quarter, good for his third forced fumble of the year and the sixth of his career. Junior linebacker Clyde Newton made his first career recovery.
• Sophomore linebacker Tegray Scales intercepted Cardale Jones at the Hoosiers 13-yard line and returned it to their 45-yard line, setting up Devine Redding's second rushing touchdown of the afternoon in the third quarter.
• Redshirt freshman linebacker Zeke Walker forced his first career fumble and redshirt sophomore cornerback Rashard Fant made his second career recovery in the fourth quarter.
• In the first quarter, the Hoosiers outgained Ohio State 114-36 overall, 90-33 through the air and 24-3 on the ground. Indiana recorded one sack, three tackles for loss and one forced fumble in the quarter.
• Sophomore Devine Redding gave the Hoosiers a 10-0 advantage with a 1-yard TD in the second quarter, his fourth of the season and the fifth of his career. The running back finished the game with two touchdowns – his second career two-touchdown game. Redding added 45 yards on a career-high 30 carries and two catches for 21 yards.
• Sophomore quarterback Zander Diamont saw action late in the game. He led the way for the Hoosiers with 98 yards on the ground. Diamont was 6-of-14 passing for 76 yards.
• Diamont's 79-yard TD is the longest rush by a Hoosier since Tevin Coleman's 90-yarder at Ohio State on Nov. 22, 2014. It is the longest rush by a quarterback in IU history.
• Indiana's second quarter touchdown drive to go ahead 10-0 was the Hoosiers longest in volume of plays (15) and time of possession (4:59) this season and it covered 80 yards. Indiana has 12 double-digit play scoring drives in 2015.
• Senior defensive end Nick Mangieri collected a career-high two sacks in the first half, pushing his season total to five and his career total to 10. He stripped Cardale Jones on the first sack for his second forced fumble of the season and the third of his career.
• Redshirt sophomore safety Chase Dutra had a career-high 11 tackles (seven solo, four assisted). His previous career-high was six (twice). Dutra also had one tackle for loss.
• Sophomore Simmie Cobbs, Jr. led the team in receptions and yards with four and 68, respectively.
• Redshirt junior Mitchell Paige had one reception for 11 yards. Paige completed his only career pass attempt to Diamont in the fourth quarter on a reverse pass back to the quarterback.
• Redshirt sophomore Griffin Oakes added a pair of 34-yarders, one in the first and one in the fourth. Oakes is 9-of-10 on the season and 22-of-28 (78.6 percent) in his career. His 22 field goals are tied for ninth on the Hoosiers career list. The Greenwood, Ind., native added three touchbacks on six kickoffs and has 25 on 35 kickoffs in 2015.
• Right guard Dan Feeney (second time this season), linebacker Marcus Oliver (second), bandit Zack Shaw (second) and quarterback Nate Sudfeld (second) served as Indiana's game captains.
• The Hoosiers wore the pink IU helmet for the first time this season.
• Indiana won the coin toss for the second time this season and elected to defer for the second time.
