Hoosiers and Boilers Clash Wednesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball teams hosts rival Purdue at University Gym in Bloomington on Wednesday Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Rivalry Week
It's rivalry week as Indiana and Purdue play each other twice this week. The first matchup at IU on Wednesday will be for the Monon Spike trophy. Saturday the teams will play at Purdue at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Anderson's Arsenal
Senior Amelia Anderson is having a career season in her last year with the Cream and Crimson. Anderson is second in the Big Ten in total kills with 240 and ranks sixth in kills per set at 3.75. Anderson is on pace to well exceed her total of 312 kills from last season in 32 matches, already with the 240 kills through 16 matches this season. Anderson is also closing in on becoming the 18th player in program history with 1,000 career kills as she currently has 963.
Can You Dig It?
Senior Courtney Harnish had 19 digs in the Hoosiers win over Rutgers on Saturday and now has 926 for her career, which ranks 13th on the Hoosiers all-time list for career digs. Harnish has reached double-digit digs in three straight matches.
Aces Wild
The Hoosiers rank number two in the Big Ten in serving with 95 aces on the season. Five different players have at least 10 service aces and an additional player has nine. Junior Megan Tallman leads the way with 17 aces on the season.
On the Airwaves
This season Lucas Corley is the voice of IU volleyball. For both road matches and home matches Corley will have audio broadcasts and select BTN Plus matches. Lucas is also the host of the weekly coaches show with IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan. Both matches this week against Purdue will be on BTN Plus. Saturday at Purdue will also have an IU audio broadcast.
