IUXC Heads to NCAA Great Lakes Regional

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana cross country teams will head to Madison, Wis. to compete in the 2015 NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 13. The University of Wisconsin will host the event at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.
The meet will get started at 1 p.m. ET with the women's 6K race followed by the men's 10K race at 2 p.m. The top two teams in each race will earn automatic bids into the NCAA Championships on Nov. 21. The top four individual finishers from non-advancing teams will also earn a spot in the national meet. At-large teams advancing on will be selected after regional.
The Indiana men, ranked 30th nationally, is coming off a fourth place finish at the Big Ten Championships on Nov. 1. Rorey Hunter (4th place) and Jason Crist (6th place) had strong showings at the conference meet for the Hoosiers to earn First Team All-Big Ten honors.
On the women's side, Indiana's Amanda Behnke ran to a 13th-place finish to earn Second Team All-Big Ten honors. As a team, the Hoosier women finished ninth at Big Tens.
