Download Sport Schedules To Microsoft Outlook
Now fans with Microsoft Outlook on their computers can download and install the Hoosiers' schedules into their calendar!
PLEASE NOTE: Schedules are subject to change. Changes will be reflected on each sport's schedule page, and will not be automatically updated in your Outlook Calendar.
Please be sure to check the sport's schedule page for changes to be sure you have the correct game time and date.
To download the file, click the sport below and choose the "Save as" option. On the left side, towards the top, select "Desktop" so the file downloads to your desktop.
After downloading the file, open Outlook and follow these directions to import the schedule into your calendar:
Microsoft Outlook 2007:
Select the File / Import and Export... Menu option.
Select "Import from another program or file", click "Next".
Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)", click "Next".
Find the desired CSV file and select "Do not import duplicate items", click "Next".
Select Calendar, click "Next".
The next window will have a title that says "The following actions will be performed:" above an option to "Import "(filename).csv" into folder: Calendar".
Check that box and click on 'Import "(filename).csv" into folder: Calendar".
From there, click and drag needed fields from the left window into the right window. It's fairly self-explanatory, but the basic corresponding fields are below:
SUBJECT to Subject
START_DATE to Start Date
START_TIME to Start Time
END_TIME to End Time
DESCRIPTION to Description
LOCATION to Location
If you would like Outlook to place a reminder, click and drag: REMINDER_ON_OFF to Reminder On/Off
Click "OK".
Click "Finish".
Microsoft Outlook 2010:
Select the "File" dropdown menu.
Select "Open".
Select "Import".
Select "Import from another program or file", click "Next".
Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)", click "Next".
Find the desired CSV file from the desktop and select "Do not import duplicate items", click "Next".
Select "Calendar", click "Next".
The next window will have a title that says "The following actions will be performed:" above an option to "Import `(filename).csv' into folder: Calendar."
Click the box to put a checkmark in the box.
Click the "Map Custom Fields..." button.
From there, click and drag needed fields from the left window into the right window. It's fairly self-explanatory, but the basic corresponding fields are below:
subject to Subject
start_time to Start Time
date to Start Date
end_time to End Time
Click "OK"
Click "Finish"
