    2013-14 (FRESHMAN) : Indoor: won the long jump at the Indiana-Purdue dual meet with a mark of 5.95m (19-6.25), the ninth best jump in school history...finished in 11th place at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the long jump. Outdoor: finished first in her section of the long jump at the Texas Relays with a jump of 6.16m (20-2.5)...improved upon that jump to go 6.19m (20-3.75) to win the long jump at the Billy Hayes Invitational, with the sixth best jump in school history...qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round and finished 39th in the long jump...ran a season-best time of 12.04 in the 100m dash at the Charlotte 49er Classic.

    PREP: State Champion long jumper for Amy Barnes at Homestead High School ... took the state title in the long jump in 2013 after finishing as the runner-up in 2012 ... finished sixth in the 200m and ninth in the 100m in 2013 and sixth in the 100m and eighth in the 200m in 2012 ... fifth in the 3x100m relay for Fort Wayne Express club team at the 2013 USA Championships ... played three years of varsity soccer.

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Eric and Kelley Nelson ... has two sisters, Alexa and Alena ... intends to major in psychology and/or criminal justice ... born September 2, 1994.
