    PREP: A two time state champion in the 1600m in 2012 and 2013 ... a 2012 cross country all-state honoree ... won a state title as part of 4x800m relay team in 2013 ... runner-up in the 3000m at the 2013 USATF Junior Outdoor Nationals ... represented team USA at the 2013 Pan American Junior Games in Medellin, Colombia ... named 2013 Miss Indiana Track and Field ... 2013 Midwest Meet of Champions 4x400m champion and also won the the 1600m title ... 2011 New Balance Indoor Nationals Emerging Elite one mile champion, runner-up in 2012 ... three times was a state qualifier in cross country and placed fifth overall in her senior season at the state meet ... named 2012 IATCCC 1A-2A Runner of the Year ... a four time cross country sectional champion ... a 13 time track sectional champion, five time regional champion ... her teams won four cross country sectional and conference titles, two cross country regional titles, a 2012 semi-state runner up and twice qualified for the state meet, placing seventh overall as a team in 2012 ... holds seven school record at Eastern (5K, 1600m, 3200m, 4x400m, 4x800m, 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles) ... owns the best 1600m time in Indiana state history with a time of 4:42 ... part of 4x800m relay team that set state record with a time of 8:53 becoming the first relay team to ever break 9:00 ... 2013 4x800m U.S. top time and the ninth-best time in U.S. high school history ... owned the best time by a high school athlete in 2013 in the 2000m steeplechase ... also owned the second and fourth-best times in 3000m steeple chase in U.S. high school history ... owns personal best marks of 18:04 in the 5K, 2:11 in the 800m, 4:42 in the 1600m, 10:52 in the 3200m, 6:37 in the 2000m steeplechase, 10:19 in the 3000m steeplechase and owns a 2:06 split in the 4x800m relay ... a letter winner four times in each cross country, basketball and track.

    PERSONAL: The daughter of Jill Pursifull ...Born July 28, 1994... her twin sister, Brittany, also runs distance at Indiana ... she and her sister helped lead her high school basketball team to the 2013 IHSAA 2A state title game and became the first set of sisters in Indiana to win IHSAA mental attitude awards in different sports (Brittany in basketball, Bethany in Track and field) ... majoring in sport marketing and management.
