    2013-14 (FRESHMAN) : Indoor: set the eighth fastest time in school history in the 1,000m run in 2:51.59 to finish in second-place at the Hoosier Open...ran a season-best time of 2:11.31 to finish in 18th place in the 800m run at the Big Ten Indoor Championships...finished in third-place at the Gladstein Invitational in the 600m run in 1:34.34.

    PREP: State champion in the 800m and 4X800 in 2013 ... ran the best time ever by an Indiana high school runner in the 800m and seventh best time in the US, placing third at the USATF Jr. Nationals in a time of 2:06...Team USA alternate for the 2013 Pan American Games in Medellin, Columbia...Indiana Gatorade Track & Field Female Athlete of the Year and IATCCC Female Distance Runner of the track and field state medalist, five-time regional champion and 12-time sectional champion...high school record holder in six events (200, 400, 800, 4x1, 4x4, and 4x8) and Indiana state record holder in 800 and 4X8...4X800 state championship in 2013 was top time in the nation and ninth best ever in US high school history...mile time in 2013 was sixth-best in Indiana history...four-year letter winner in basketball...1,000 point scorer and Eastern High School's all-time leading scorer...scored 48 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in 2013 Semi-State basketball game and led team to state runner-up finish...Named the IHSAA Farm Bureau Mental Attitude Winner at the state championship basketball game...owns personal best times of 4:51 in the 1600m, 2:06 in the 800m, 57.02 in the 400m and 56.1 in the 4X400m relay.

    PERSONAL: The daughter of Jill Pursifull ...born July 28, 1994... her twin sister, Bethany, also runs distance at Indiana ... she and her sister helped lead her high school basketball team to the 2013 IHSAA 2A state title game and became the first set of sisters in Indiana to win IHSAA mental attitude awards in different sports (Brittany in basketball, Bethany in Track and field) ... majoring in Community Health.
