    2013-14 (JUNIOR) : Indoor: finished in sixth-place at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the pole vault with a mark of 5.11m (16-9.25)...set the ninth best mark in school history at 5.25m (17-2.75) to win the Indiana Relays. Outdoor: won the Billy Hayes Invitational pole vault with a clearance of 5.30m (17-4.5), the eighth best mark in school history...finished in ninth-place at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships...finished in 13th place at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a mark of 5.27m (17-3.5).

    AT SOUTH FLORIDA: Won the 2013 BIG EAST Indoor Championships in the pole vault ... cleared a PR 17-0.75 outdoors ... qualified for the NCAA East Prelims in 2012 and 2013.

    PREP: Won two state titles for Larry Williams at Bloomington South ... highs school PR of 16-8 ... National Honor Society member ... also lettered in football in track.

    PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Marci Volz ... has two brothers, Drake and Deakin ... born November 20, 1992...Father Dave is an Olympian and finished fifth in the 1992 Games with a clearance of 5.65m (18-6.5) in the pole vault...also became first IU freshman to win an NCAA Track & Field Championship in 1981 and was inducted into the IU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007.
