    2013-14 (JUNIOR) : Indoor: finished in fourth-place at the Hoosier Hills Invitational in the 60m dash in 7.69. Outdoor: set a career-best time in the 200m dash in 25.08 to finish in 13th place at the Charlotte 49er Classic...also set a career-best time in the 100m dash in 11.94 to finish in fifth-place at the Charlotte 49er Classic...finished in 23rd place at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 200m dash in 25.71.

    2012-13 (SOPHOMORE) Indoor: Finished second at the Indiana University vs. Purdue University dual meet in the 60-meter dash in 7.83...season-best of 7.78 in the 60-meter dash at the Meyo Invitational to finish in 14th place...Outdoor: Season-best of 12.27 in the 100-meter dash at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships to finish in 17th place...finished second as part of the Indiana 4X100-meter relay team at the Billy Hayes Invitational in 46.73.

    2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Indoor: Clocked PRs of 7.25 in the 55m, 7.60 in the 60m and 25.70 in the 200m. Outdoor: Ran a career-best 12.61 (wind-aided) in the 100m at the Border Battle.

    PREP: Standout sprinter for Laticia Owens at Fox High School ... 2009 100m state runner-up in Missouri ... clocked school records of 11.76 in the 100m and 24.9 in the 200m ... earned Most Valuable Runner honors ... was named STLToday and Fox 2 News Athlete of the Week ... earned most valuable runner honors at the Jackson Invitational.

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Tamika Pace ... has two brothers, Darquan and Damarion ... born October 25, 1992 ... criminal justice major.

    COACH HELMER: "Shawntanay has shown flashes of brilliance during her high school years while being unable to sustain high level performances over the long term. Training with our fast improving junior Aireonna Bailey plus fellow incomer, La Toya Williams, will give her all the help she needs to become the consistent performer we know she can be."
