    Hoosiers Wrap up Day Two at Texas Relays

    AUSTIN, Texas – Sophomores Stephen Keller and Dylan Anderson set top-10 marks in school history in the decathlon and junior Drew Volz tied for first in the pole vault on day two of the Texas Relays.


    Keller finished in second-place in the final event of the decathlon, the 1500m run in 4:34.69 for 715 points. Keller finished 12th overall with 6,954 points, the seventh best point total in IU history for the decathlon.


    Dylan Anderson had the second best clearance of the field in the pole vault as he cleared 4.90m (16-0.75) for 880 points. Anderson finished 13th overall with 6,881 points, the eighth best point total in IU history.


    Volz, who competed in the pole vault tied for first with a clearance of 5.20m (17-0.75), one of four to jump over that height in the competition.


    Tomorrow will see five more Hoosiers compete, including 2013 Texas Relays event winners Kyla Buckley (shot put) and Sarah Maxson (high jump). Senior Kelsie Ahbe and sophomore Sophie Gutermuth will compete in the pole vault and freshman Ari Nelson is set to compete in the long jump.
