BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - With one week until the Big Ten Indoor Championship the majority of the Indiana track & field team will continue preparations in Bloomington, while select student-athletes will travel to Notre Dame for the Alex Wilson Invitational.

The men's distance medley relay team consisting of Jordan Gornall, Derrick Morgan, Tre'tez Kinnaird and Rorey Hunter and will compete at 12:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Indiana's best DMR time (9:40.51) is currently ranked 21st in the NCAA with the top 16 qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships. With great competition the Hoosiers hope to run faster to make the top 16.

Indiana throwers Kyla Buckley, M.J. Doan, Nakel McClinton and Dyrek Chowning will also compete at Notre Dame. The women's weight throw will be contested at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with the men's weight throw to follow. After the weight throw the shot put will be contested.

Buckley currently has the seventh best mark in the NCAA (16.98 meters) with her throw last weekend at the Hoosier Hills Invitational.
