BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana track & field team will travel to Louisville this weekend for the Border Battle meet on Saturday April 12 at Cardinal Park.

The meet has historically been a battle of the Indiana schools (Indiana and Notre Dame) against Kentucky schools (Kentucky and Louisville). This year the meet will have a different twist as Kentucky is out and Purdue is in. The meet will be a scored meet with Indiana and Purdue against Notre Dame and Louisville.

The meet is scheduled to get underway on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with the men’s and women’s hammer throw and shot put at the throws field.

Running events at Cardinal Park will start at 12:00 p.m. with prelims of hurdles and 100m dashes. The final event of the day will be the men’s 4X400-meter relay at 4:30 p.m.
