Katy has been serving the University for over 15 years. She recently joined the Varsity Club, and is primarily responsible for processing all gift donations. Prior to the Varsity Club, Katy started her career at IU by working part-time as an assistant in the State Relations Office; from there she joined the University President's staff under President and Mrs. Brand. After serving the Brands, she moved to the IU Foundation where she has been the last 9 years. While with the IU Foundation, Katy spent a great amount of time coordinating the original Cox Scholars Program on both the Bloomington and IUPUI campuses. The South Bend native graduated with her Bachelors of Sociology/Social Work from the University of Notre Dame in 1980. Katy has been a board member for a number of organizations including; the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club and Bloomington Country Club. She served as President for the Boys and Girls Club Auxiliary and Childs School PTO as well. Katy is married to husband Mark, who is the Region President for Old National Bank, and together they have three sons: Son Matt (29), lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Sara, and their son, Henry; Son Mike (27) also lives in Austin, Texas, and Son John (25) resides in San Francisco, California. |
