    Assistant Director of Development


    Anne is one of four Assistant Directors of Development. Presently located in Chicago, Illinois, Anne is a remote development officer whose efforts include connecting with, cultivating, and soliciting current donors to the IU Varsity Club, as well as working to find new support for Indiana University's student-athletes, endowments, and capital projects. Anne travels frequently in northern Indiana and Chicago, hoping to connect with alumni and share updates on priorities and initiatives of IU Athletics. Anne maintains a presence in Bloomington at sporting events and non-game activities throughout the year.

    Originally from Orinda, California, Anne left the San Francisco Bay Area to attend Indiana University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in communication & culture and sociology in 2004. As a student, she worked part time for the IU Alumni Association (IUAA) and was promoted to a full time position upon graduation.After nearly three years with the IUAA working in special events and alumni relations, Anne made her way to the IU Foundation where she served as Events and Meetings Associate. In 2007, Anne joined the Varsity Club team. She has been our Events and Suite Coordinator and our Assistant Director of Alumni Outreach and Special Projects. In 2010, Anne was promoted to one of our Assistant Directors of Development.

    After 14 years in Bloomington, Anne moved to Chicago in 2013 when her husband Derek accepted a position with the Chicago Cubs. Anne and Derek reside in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago with their yellow lab, Oscar.
