    Assoc. Athl. Director for Facilities & Ext. Alliances

    Eric Neuburger was appointed as Associate Athletic Director for Facilities & External Alliances at Indiana University in 2012 after spending over five years working in various roles in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. In his current position, Eric oversees capital projects and facilities, equipment operations, financial aspects of the Varsity Club, a major gift portfolio, as well as legal issues and requests under Indiana's Access to Public Records Act. He also manages the Department's revenue generating relationships with IU Sports Properties, adidas, Gatorade, and others, along with serving as sport administrator for men's and women's swimming and diving, and water polo.

    Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University. During his four year undergraduate career at Indiana, Eric served as the head manager to the IU Swimming & Diving Team. He also served as an athletics intern in the area of facilities and events. Furthering his education at Ohio University, Eric acquired both Master of Business Administration and Master of Sports Administration degrees before receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. Prior to returning to Indiana University in 2007, he served as Executive Director of the Indiana Governor's Council for Physical Fitness & Sports.

    Eric is a life member of the Indiana University Alumni Association and an I Association member.He is also affiliated with several other organizations, including the National Association of Athletic Development Directors, the Council for Advancement & Support of Education, the Penrod Society, USA Swimming, and United States Masters Swimming.

    Formerly of Indianapolis, Eric and his wife, Monica, now reside in Bloomington with their sons, Owen and Milo.
