    Q. What do you find most attractive about Indiana University?

    A. Having an athletic department devoted to my success both as an athlete and as a student.

    Q. What was the biggest adjustment for you when coming to Indiana?

    A. I think the biggest adjustment for me was getting used to the rigorous training and academic schedule of a college athlete. In high school my day was mapped out for me, but when I came to college I had to learn to manage my time/schedule efficiently making sure to get the most out of everyday.

    Q. How would you interpret the Spirit of Indiana?

    A. I would interpret it as not feeling alone when I take the mat. As a wrestler you're the only one who physically walks to the center of the mat, but when I'm in front of a home crowd I cant help but feel the support of my coaches, teammates, and fans right behind me.

    Q. What does it mean to you to wear the famous Cream and Crimson and represent Indiana University?

    A. It means that I have the privilege to represent Indiana University to the best of my abilities.

    Q. As a scholarship athlete, how do you feel you benefit most by the aid you receive from the Varsity Club?

    A. By placing me in a situation where I have all the recourses to maximize my potential both athletically and academically. Without your help I could have only dreamed of this opportunity.

    Q. If you had the opportunity to meet the donors that provided your scholarship, what would you like to say to them?

    A. I would thank them for changing my life. I would tell them how this opportunity has given me the best five years I could ever ask for, leaving me with a college degree, amazing athletic memories, and the tools I need to achieve further success.
