Student-Athletes Thank 3,251 Donors at Annual Event

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- More than 200 student-athletes participated in the Varsity Club's 11th annual Thank-a-thon on Thursday, April 10 at Assembly Hall. This annual event is an opportunity for student-athletes to express their appreciation to donors for their generous contributions to support athletic scholarships.
Student-athletes participated in two 75-minute sessions during which they made phone calls and wrote letters to donors.
While not all of the Varsity Club's 6,600 donors could be reached in a single evening, a total of 991 thank-you calls were made and 2,260 letters were written. Of the phone calls made, student-athletes spoke with 370 donors and left 621 appreciation messages for donors.
