Did you know that you can earn extra priority points by supporting other areas within Indiana University (e.g. Kelley School of Business, Jacobs School of Music, the Woodburn Guild, etc.)?

Priority points are used to allocate priority seating at football and men’s basketball games. At the Varsity Club, we frequently get asked about how to earn more priority points. In this edition of Priority Point Spotlight, we’ll highlight how you can earn extra non-accumulative priority points through gifts to IU.

The Indiana University Priority Point Policy was designed to ensure equitable consideration for the loyalty and financial support of the thousands of IU fans who wish to attend athletic events.

One of the key ways in which this is done is by rewarding the loyalty of Varsity Club annual giving donors who also support other areas within Indiana University. Your donations to support Indiana University represent a commitment and passion to a bright future. We’re proud to support loyal donors to Indiana University with non-accumulative priority points each year.

Your contributions to IU (in areas outside of IU Athletics and the Well House Society) make you eligible to receive one (1) non-accumulative point for every $100 contributed each year. You are also eligible for an additional five (5) non-accumulative points each year when you contribute a minimum of $100 to the IU Foundation.

Non-accumulative points are awarded on an annual basis, but expire at the end of the year. Priority points for gifts to IU are granted each July 1st based on donations received the previous year (July 1-June 30).
