Capital Projects
While providing funding for student-athlete scholarships is always our top priority, the Varsity Club also engages in capital fundraising projects to provide the best facilities and equipment for student-athlete success. Top-notch facilities ensure we remain competitive and attract to best student-athletes to Indiana University.
Recent capital gifts have allowed us to turn Memorial Stadium into an integrated athletic and academic classroom facility (North End Zone Student-Athlete Development Center and the D. Ames Shuel Academic Center). Thanks to the generosity of donors, Cook Hall is also one of the most state-of-the-art basketball practice facilities in the country. IU's Strength and Conditioning Facility was also recently renamed the W. Jay and Nancy Wilkinson Performance Center in recognition of a lead gift to provide operating resources to fund equipment and training needs.
