What is the difference between annual giving fund and the athletic endowment fund?
Annual giving represents funds given by Varsity Club donors each year. These donations are categorized into giving levels such as Hoosier Hundred, Big Red, etc. Annual giving funds along with income earned on the Glaubinger Athletic Endowment are used to pay the scholarship bill each year.
The Priority Point Policy is the guideline used for the assignment of tickets and seating available for Indiana University football and men's basketball games. It was designed to ensure proper and equitable consideration for the loyalty and financial support of thousands of IU fans wishing to attend athletic events.
The point system takes into consideration many factors, including longevity as a donor and season ticketholder as well as level of financial support to the Varsity Club and other areas of IU. View the priority point policy.
How do I know how many priority points I have?
You can calculate your point total by viewing our priority point policy. Point accumulation totals are also tallied twice a year based on the renewal deadlines for football and basketball season tickets. For football, the deadline is typically set around March 15 of each year. For basketball, the deadline is around June 30 of each year. Varsity Club donors receive an updated point total letter twice a year shortly after the priority point deadlines. To view your Priority Points online, log in to My IU Athletics Account.
Members can contact the Varsity Club at any time to discuss priority points, (812) 855-0866 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
