Matt Schwartzer led the way for Indiana with a 43rd place finish as the Hoosiers finished 15th at the NCAA Championships.
Senior Zach Mayhew's 13th place finish on Saturday was the best finish for a Hoosier at NCAAs in 20 years.
2013-14 (R-SOPHOMORE): Cross Country: finished in third-place at the Hoosier Open and set a season-best time in the 8,000m run in 25:13.9...finished in seventh-place at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships in 25:22.4. Indoor: finished in second-place in the 3,000m run at the Hoosier Hills Invitational in 8:22.71...finished in 19th place in the 3K at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in season-best time of 8:19.88. Outdoor: won the 3K at the Charlotte Invitational in 8:25.81...finished in second-place in the 1500m run at the Billy Hayes Invitational in 3:46.46 to earn a spot at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, where he finished in 44th place in 3:54.96.
2012-13 (R-FRESHMAN): Ran to a 34th place finish in the Pre-Nationals race in 25:00 ... participated at the Big Ten Championships ... at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional placed 40th overall in a time of 32:12 ... scored for IU at the NCAA Championships by being the fifth Hoosier to cross the line in 31:38.1.
