BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The 2012 Indiana cross country season will begin with the Indiana Open on Saturday, Sept. 8. The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET at the IU Championship Cross Country Course in Bloomington, Ind. The women's 5K race will start things off before the men's 8K race at 10 a.m. ET.
The men's team begins the season ranked No. 13 nationally on the heels of a seventh-place finish in the 2011 NCAA Championships last November. Along with Ginther, Caitlin Engel, Brianna Johnson and Arianne Raby, all of which competed in the Great Lakes Regional a year ago, will look to make strides for the ladies.
