BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - For the first time since 2004, the Indiana men's and women's cross country teams will both compete at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 23. This year's event will take place in Terre Haute, Ind., at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

The men's 10K race will get things started at Noon ET on Saturday and the women's 6K run will follow.

This marks the fourth-straight year that the IU men's team has qualified for the national meet. The Hoosiers ran to a sixth place finish at the Great Lakes Regional last week, placing six runners in the top 25.

At the 2012 NCAA Championships, Zach Mayhew earned All-America honors by placing 13th overall. That was the best individual finish for an Indiana runner at the national meet since 1992.

The IU women's team returns to NCAAs for the first time since 2009. Samantha Ginther (2011) and Kelsey Duerksen (2012) each competed individually in each of the last two seasons.

The Hoosier women placed sixth at the Great Lakes Regional last week, led by Ginther's 10th-place individual finish.

Both races will be streamed live on NCAA.com and live results can also be found there.
