Indiana Baseball is closing out Sembower Field the right way, pulling off the fourth walk-off victory at home this season on Tuesday; a 5-4 winner over Evansville (30-23, 9-9 MVC) on Tuesday. The surging Hoosiers (27-26, 13-8 Big Ten) have won eight of the last 11 overall, and seven of nine in conference play.

Indiana Baseball (26-26, 13-8 Big Ten) rode Chad Martin to a 2-1 series-clinching victory over Northwestern on Sunday. Martin surrendered a lone run in 8.1 innings and retired 17 straight batters en route to earning the win.

Another brilliant long relief effort from Jonny Hoffman thrust Indiana Baseball into another Sunday rubber match following a 5-2 Hoosier win over Northwestern (17-32, 6-17 Big Ten) in game two. Six days after recording a pair of four-inning saves in the same day against Nebraska, Hoffman clocked in for a 4.1-inning shift on the bump to earn the win and improve to 5-1.

Indiana's ninth-inning rally came up one run short as IU (24-26, 11-8 Big Ten) fell in the series opener at Northwestern (17-31, 6-16), 4-3. The Wildcats tallied a single run in each of the first four innings and held on for the victory behind a strong performance from starter Francis Brooke on the mound.

Indiana Baseball (24-25, 11-7 Big Ten) concludes the road portion of the schedule this weekend, playing a three-game set at Northwestern (16-31, 5-16). With six conference games remaining, the second-place Hoosiers are three games back from Big Ten-leading Purdue; but also just two games up on eighth-place in the crowded B1G standings.

It was an up-and-down midweek game for Indiana (24-25) on Wednesday, going through several lead changes before an eventual 12-inning defeat to #7 Kentucky (38-11). The biggest low came in the top of the 12th when Kentucky won in `balk-off' fashion, posting the go-ahead run on a two-out balk.

For the second consecutive weekend, Indiana Baseball swept a Sunday doubleheader; taking two from Nebraska (29-18, 9-9 Big Ten) to grab sole possession of second place in the Big Ten standings. The Hoosiers even their season record at 24-24, but more importantly improve to 11-7 in conference play.

Indiana Baseball (22-24, 9-7 Big Ten) watched Nebraska rip off 12 unanswered runs in Saturday's series opener, flipping a 2-1 IU lead into a 13-2 final in favor of the Huskers (29-16, 9-7). It marks the first Big Ten series in which IU has dropped game one this season.
