Phegley, Bashore Earn All-Region Recognition
Sophomores Matt Bashore and Josh Phegley have been named to the 2008 ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region Teams by the American Baseball Coaches Association, the organization announced today. Phegley was a first team selection at catcher, while Bashore earned second team honors at pitcher from the organization.

Phegley Named ABCA All-American
Sophomore catcher Josh Phegley has been named a 2008 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association, the organization announced today. Phegley, who earlier collected All-America honors from the National College Baseball Writers of America and Collegiate Baseball News, finished off one of the best offensive seasons in IU history with a .438 average, 15 home runs, 80 RBI and 20 doubles.
