FRESHMAN YEAR: 2011
Made 18 appearances on the mound, including four starts ... totaled 40.2 innings pitched, finishing the season as a member of the weekend rotation for the last two Big Ten series ... first career start came on the road at Michigan (4/2), earning a `W' by lasting six innings and allowing just four hits and one earned run ... picked up first career win during the spring break trip, topping UMass (3/16) ... came out of the pen at Tennessee (3/5), blanking the Vols for the final two innings and picking up a save ... compiled 23 strikeouts on the season ... made four consecutive scoreless appearances in late April ... Indiana was 3-1 in games which he started ... did not allow a homerun all season.
