    Lefty appeared in 19 games and made five starts, going 1-4 with a 9.00 ERA on the year ... struck out 37 men in 47 innings of work ... went two innings in his 2010 debut, against San Diego (2/20) ... threw an inning against Connecticut (2/28) ... struck out one and did not allow a base runner in 2/3 of an inning against Louisville (3/9) ... struck out five in 4 2/3 innings against Yale (3/15) ... pitched 1 2/3 frames of scoreless relief vs. Taylor (3/27) ... rebounded from a shaky start to throw a complete game and strike out a career-best eight in the middle game against Michigan (4/3) ... pitched a solid six innings in a losing effort against Ohio State (4/10) ... tossed a shutout inning in the opener with Purdue (4/30) ... saved his best performance for the Big Ten Tournament, as he struck out five against Minnesota without walking a batter in 3 1/3 strong innings.
