    FRESHMAN YEAR: 2010
    Freshman came in as a middle infielder but transitioned to the mound during the season ... went 4-for-23 on the year with a double, two RBI and three runs ... on the mound, went 1-2 with an 8.15 ERA and nine strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings ... made his first career hit a big one, knocking in an RBI single in the series finale against USD (2/21) ... singled and scored in the Hoosiers' win over West Virginia (2/26) ... had an RBI double to center and scored twice against Louisville (3/9) ... pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief against Yale (3/15) ... tossed a pair of innings against Morehead State (3/23) ... threw two scoreless frames, allowing two hits, against Louisville (3/30) ... struck out two in 1 2/3 innings against Michigan (4/4) ... pitched 1/3 of an inning against Ball State (4/6) ... collected his first career win, going three innings and striking out three at Valpo (4/13) ... threw three innings against Indiana State (4/28).
