Played in 45 games, making 27 starts in his freshman season ... hit .225 with a .366 on-base percentage (third-highest on the team), while scoring 16 runs and stealing six bases ... made his Hoosier debut against Southern Mississippi (2/24), hitting a single in his two at-bats ... went 1-for-2, scoring all three IU runs against Indiana State (3/6) ... went 1-for-3, scoring two runs and stealing a pair of bases against Florida A&M (3/17) ... had his first multi-hit contest and extra-base hit against IPFW (3/25) ... had a key RBI single in a 6-5 victory over Louisville (5/9) ... scored the game-winning run in a 10-7 victory over Minnesota (5/19).
