Went 2-3 with a 9.00 ERA in 18 appearances ... struck out 23 batters in 31 innings ... retired the first five batters of his collegiate career, eventually allowing three hits in 2 1/3 innings in the season opener (2/19) ... collected a hold in IU's 7-5 win over USD (2/21), surrendering one hit in one inning... threw a perfect 2 1/3 innings to collect the win in relief vs. West Virginia (2/26) ... struck out three in two frames against Illinois State (3/5), collecting the win in relief ... went 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief vs. Akron (3/20) ... pitched 4 1/3 innings, striking out five against Taylor (3/27) ... posted a scoreless inning in the opener with Michigan (4/2) ... posted a shutout stanza at Valparaiso (4/13) ... went three shutout innings in helping IU take Purdue to extras in a 12-11 win (5/1).
