Played in 52 games, making 48 starts at shortstop ... belted five homeruns and drove in 23 runs while batting .264 on the year ... also connected for 11 doubles and a triple ... rode an eight-game hitting streak into the season finale ... capped off Indiana's four-run ninth inning with a walk-off single, handing the Hoosiers a 10-9 victory over Ohio State (4/10) ... it was his third hit of the day ... had another three-hit game the following weekend at Iowa (4/17) ... gave IU a 5-4 lead versus national power Oregon State, clubbing a solo shot in the seventh inning ... named to the Kleberg Bank College Classic All-Tournament Team ... an Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
