FRESHMAN YEAR: 2010
Freshman graduated high school a semester early, and appeared in 18 games with three starts on the year ... struck out 17 batters in 26 1/3 innings, posting an 0-1 record ... came in with the bases loaded and two down in his IU debut, striking out Kalei Hanawahine on three pitches to retire the San Diego side ... also threw a scoreless inning in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader with USD (2/20) ... went 2 1/3 innings against Villanova (2/27), surrendering two hits and striking out two ... punched out two in 1 2/3 innings against Vanderbilt (3/7) ... surrendered just two hits and no walks to No. 10 Louisville (3/9), striking out two in a no-decision ... tossed 2/3 of an inning in the second game against Louisville (3/30) ... pitched two frames in the opener against Ohio State (4/9) ... made the start at Miami, (4/20), going two innings.
