JUNIOR YEAR: 2008
Appeared in 11 games, throwing 11 2/3 innings ... did not record a decision and had a 6.94 ERA with 12 strikeouts on the year ... pitched a shutout inning against Fresno State (3/9) ... struck out four in two innings against Utah (3/13) ... threw two scoreless innings against Miami (4/2) ... allowed one hit in two innings against Ball State (4/16) ... allowed one hit in a shutout inning against Michigan (4/26).
SOPHOMORE YEAR: 2007
Led the team with 23 appearances and made one start ... finished the season with a 2-1 record, two saves and a 4.88 ERA ... posted scoreless appearances out of the bullpen in each of his first four games, allowing just one hit in his first 6 1/3 innings of work ... threw 2/3 of an inning, walking one, to pick up his first save, against Florida A&M (3/17) ... picked up a win in relief by pitching out of a two-on, two-out jam in the ninth inning against Michigan State (3/30) ... earned his second save of the season by hurling the final 2/3 of an inning against Northwestern (4/9) ... earned a win with 2 2/3 innings of shutout ball out of the bullpen against Purdue (4/14) ... struck out four in 4 2/3 innings of relief work against Minnesota (5/18).
FRESHMAN YEAR: 2006
Led the team with five wins and 19 appearances and tied for the club lead with three saves ... finished the year 5-4 with a 3.93 ERA, which ranked second on the squad, and pitched 50 1/3 innings with 29 punchouts threw four scoreless innings of relief at Penn State (4/29), holding the Nittany Lions to three hits ... carded his third save of the year with a scoreless frame against Ohio State (4/22) ... pitched a career-high 6 1/3 innings, allowing one earned run on five hits with one walk and four Ks, at Northwestern (4/10) ... in his first career start, he tossed four innings to earn the win at Michigan State (4/1) ... posted his second save with 3 2/3 innings of scoreless ball the previous game vs. Hartford (3/25) ... in the 3 2/3, retired 11 of the 12 batters he faced and surrendered one hit with no walks and a career-best six punchouts ... tossed 4 2/3 shutout innings and gave up just two hits en route to his first career victory, against Indiana State (3/7).
