BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Stanford (33-24) came from behind on Sunday to score six runs in the final two innings to get past Indiana (44-14) in Game 6 of the Bloomington Regional at Bart Kaufman Field, 10-7. The Cardinal offense had 14 hits on the night with six of them going for extra bases.

The loss marks the first time all year that Indiana has fell when leading after seven innings. IU is now 39-1 in that scenario.

Kyle Schwarber (2-for-4), Sam Travis (2-for-3) and Scott Donley (2-for-5) all had multi-hit nights. Donley had two RBI as Travis and Schwarber each had one. Casey Rodrigue reached base three times going 1-for-3 with two walks and scored twice.

Stanford's extra-base hits were three home runs (Zach Hoffpauir, Brant Whiting, Wayne Tayor), a triple (Hoffpauir) and a pair of doubles (Tommy Edman, Austin Slater).

Rodrigue started things with a leadoff single in the bottom of the first. Schwarber then ripped a single to right field to put runners on the corners for Travis. Travis cashed in with an RBI single over the second baseman for IU's first run of the night. DeMuth later went the opposite direction for a ground rule double to left to bring around Travis. Will Nolden put Indiana's third run on the board with a sac fly to left to plate Scott Donley.

Stanford got two runs back in the top of the second with back-to-back solo home runs from Hoffpauir and Whiting.

Indiana added a run in the bottom of the inning as O'Conner doubled and moved to third on a groundout before later scoring on a wild pitch.

The Hoosiers made it a 5-2 game in the fourth as O'Conner reached with a one-out walk and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Schwarber then brought home O'Conner with a two-out RBI single.

Stanford stayed in the ballgame by adding a pair of runs in the fifth. After back-to-back singles to put runners on the corners with one out, Alex Blandino hit a fly ball to center to plate the Cardinal's third run with a sacrifice fly. Slater then singled to the right side with two outs and a Will Nolden throwing error allowed Stanford's fourth run to score.

IU made it a 6-4 game in the seventh as Travis walked with two outs and Donley brought him all the around to score with a double.

The Stanford bats then caught fire in the top of the eighth. Hoffpauir and Dominic Jose both singled to put runners on with two outs. Taylor then came in as a pinch hitter and launched a 0-1 pitch the opposite way for a three-run homer to give Stanford its first lead of the night, 7-6.

The Cardinal added to the lead in the ninth using two doubles, a single and a triple to add three more runs to take a 10-6 advantage.

In the bottom of the ninth, Indiana's first three batters walked to load the bases with no outs. Donley plated a run with a fielder's choice groundball to the third baseman. DeMuth then ended the game as he lined out to second and the Donley was doubled off at first base as he was stealing second base on the pitch.

Indiana and Stanford will meet on Monday at 5:35 p.m. ET at Bart Kaufman Field to determine the NCAA Bloomington Regional champion. Tickets are available for the game and can be purchased at the IU Ticket Office in Assembly Hall beginning at 8 a.m. The Bart Kaufman Field ticket windows will open at 3 p.m.
