-- Indiana University head baseball coach Bob Morgan has announced that two additional high school seniors will join the Hoosiers' 2004-05 recruiting class. Brad Udoff
(Atlanta, Ga./Pace Academy) and Kevin Leininger
(Perrysburg, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) have committed to attend IU and play baseball beginning in the fall of 2004.
"Both of these young men are excellent student-athletes that we are exctied to have joining our program," Morgan said.
Catcher 5-9 180 Atlanta, Ga. Pace Academy
Udoff is a senior at Pace Academy in Atlanta, Ga. A three-year starter and letterwinner for coach Charlie Owens, he hit .341 with five home runs and 28 runs scored as a junior in 2003. Udoff was named the MVP of his Pace Academy team that qualified for the state playoffs and placed third in the region last season. Udoff played summer baseball for the East Cobb Bulls in 2002 and for the East Cobb Seminoles in 2003. He was named etam MVP of the Seminoles. An excellent student, he is a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.

Leininger is a senior at St. John's Jesuit High School where he plays for Ed Mouch. He was a first-team All-City selection and a first-team All-District honoree as a junior in 2003. As a sophomore in 2002, he garnered second-team All-City honors and second-team All-District accolades. Leininger played summer baseball for the Underwood Orr.

"Kevin is a solid infielder who will be an excellent second baseman in college. He will also be looked at to contribute on the mound."
Zach Barrett (Evansville, Ind./F.J. Reitz HS), Jordan Baughman (LaGrange, Ill./Lyons Township), Tyler Cox (Georgetown, Ind./Floyd Central HS), Lenny Leclercq (Terre Haute, Ind./West Vigo High School), Adam Poole (Orleans, Ind./Lincoln Trail Junior College) and Josh Verts (Winchester, Va./John Handley HS) also committed to play for IU in November.
