    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Senior Mark Calkins is a two-year starter in left field for the Hoosiers and turned in his best season yet in 2002. He finished ranked third on the team with a .357 batting average and 67 runs scored while knocking in 38 runs and hitting 12 doubles. A native of Portland, Ore. (Jesuit HS), Calkins played the first season of his college career at the The Citadel before transferring to Indiana.
