BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head baseball coach Bob Morgan is on the clinic trail. Morgan and his staff are set to be a part of several speaking engagements and baseball clinics over the next month.

Morgan kicked off the new year by speaking at the National Baseball Coaches’ Convention in San Diego, Calif., Jan. 2-5. He gave a talk about practice organization which was highlighted by a power-point presentation put together by Hoosier assistant coach Jeff Calcaterra. Morgan also spoke at the Southern Maryland Baseball Camp, Jan 17-19.

In addition, the Indiana staff will be putting on a staff clinic at the Westchester Clinic in Rye, N.Y., Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. Morgan is set to begin his 20th season at IU and his 27th year as a head coach overall this season. He is just 15 wins shy of his 1,000th career win and also currently ranks 12th among active coaches for total victories and 20th in winning percentage (.681). He is assisted at Indiana by Calcaterra, who enters his 10th season on the staff, and third-year assistant Tony Kestranek.
