    Leading up to the 2007 baseball season, IUHOOSIERS.com will profile all of the Hoosier newcomers for the upcoming year. The newcomer profile for Friday, Feb. 2, is of pitcher Brandon Money. Money, who throws and hits righty, will wear number 25 for Indiana in 2007.

    Brandon Money joins the Hoosiers in 2007 after playing three years of varsity baseball for Dave Gandolph at Center Grove High School. The Greenwood, Ind., native also played football at Center Grove before coming to Bloomington.

    Money pitched and played outfield for Center Grove, helping the team to a 9-8 record in his senior season. In both his sophomore and junior campaigns, Money and his teammates took home the Class 4A sectional championship. He was named his team's MVP as a senior.

    Money has one sister, Brittany, and plans to major in biology at IU. The son of Alan and Kimberly Money was born on July 29, 1987.
