BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Baseball staff was the featured presenter last weekend at the Westchester Clinic in Rye, N.Y. The clinic is one of several speaking engagements the staff has been involved in over the last month.
On Friday evening, head coach Bob Morgan and assistant coaches Jeff Calcaterra and Tony Kestranek conducted a session on practice organization, highlighted by a detailed power point presentation. Morgan and Kestranek also spoke on hitting and fielding while Calcaterra addressed pitching.
On Saturday, Morgan talked about motivation and Calcaterra and Kestranek spoke on catching. All three members of the staff also presented six 30-minute sessions on various baseball topics.
In addition, Morgan also spoke at the Oklahoma State Coaches' Clinic in Oklahoma City on Feb. 2.
