BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Baseball is headed south again for a three-game series at Jacksonville University (3-7). The #17 Hoosiers (5-5) are winners of three straight, including a 2-1 victory over Xavier in the home opener on Wednesday.

Friday at 6:30 pm ET will mark the first ever meeting between the schools on a baseball diamond. Staff ace Joey DeNato will look for this fourth quality start in as many weeks this season while the Dolphins counter with a southpaw of their own, Josh Baker. On Saturday at 2 pm ET, it will be Will Coursen-Carr facing off against the defending Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Week, Alex McRae. The series then wraps up with a Sunday showdown at noon pitting Florida native Christian Morris versus Justin Russell.

IUHoosiers.com is making the trip to John Sessions Stadium, providing free live audio broadcasts for all three contests. Assistant director of media relations Kyle Kuhlman and director of baseball operations Roger Rodeheaver will be on the call.

    A QUANTITY OF QUALITY
Friday night starter Joey DeNato is one of 43 pitchers nationally to contribute `quality start' (at least six innings with three or less earned runs) in each his first three starts this season. DeNato owns a 3-0 mark with an ERA of 0.47. In 19 innings pitched, he has allowed a lone earned run. Dating back to last season, DeNato's lone earned run streak covers 28 innings.

    HART BEATS HOMETOWN MUSKETEERS
Cincinnati native Kyle Hart shutout one of his hometown universities for seven innings, guiding #17 Indiana in a tight 2-1 victory over Xavier in the 2014 Hoosier home opener. Hart tallied the 14th win of his career and improved his record to 9-3 since the start of 2013 (18 starts). The Sycamore High School product blanked XU for seven frames, scattering four hits and four walks while striking out three in the winning effort.
