Hoosiers Set for Game Two Against Seminoles

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Indiana baseball team will face off with Florida State for the second game of a three-game series on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. EST. The game will be televised live on SUN Sports (DirecTV Channel 632, Dish Network Channel 422), and an online audio broadcast is available as well. Matt Bashore (1-0) is expected to start for the Hoosiers, while Michael Hyde (5-0) will throw for FSU.
In the series opener, Reid Briglia and Keith Haas notched two hits apiece and Tyler Tufts threw seven strong innings, but it was not enough as Indiana fell to second-ranked Florida State 6-0. FSU outhit the Hoosiers 10-7 in the contest and got outstanding pitching from Bryan Henry to move to 18-0 on the year.
Tufts (1-2) pitched seven solid innings against one of the top hitting teams in college baseball. In his third start of the season for the Hoosiers, Tufts allowed nine hits, five on infield singles, and walked two while allowing four earned runs. Eight of the nine FSU hits were singles. Jarrett Casey and Doug Fleenor pitched the ninth, allowing two walks and a single.
Henry pitched eight innings for the home squad, allowing six Hoosier hits and no runs, while striking out seven. Henry upped his season record to 5-0 with the victory. Travis Burge pitched the ninth for Florida State.
