    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Baseball (22-3), ranked as high as 16th in the national polls this week, takes a quick break from Big Ten play and travels to Cincinnati for a midweek matchup at Xavier (10-13) on Wednesday. First pitch between the Hoosiers and Musketeers is slated for 3 pm ET.

    Freshman southpaw Will Coursen-Carr (1-0, 0.98) is expected to toe the rubber for Indiana while junior RHP Scott Klever (2-2, 5.21) deals for Xavier inside Hayden Field.

    QUICK HIT GAME NOTES
    - The Hoosiers head to Xavier riding the longest current winning streak in the country at 15 games (an IU school record). Mississippi State owns the best stretch overall in 2013, starting the season 17-0 before suffering a loss.

    - Indiana is ranked 16th nationally by both Baseball America and the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

    - Win #20 came on April 27 in 2012 while IU earned the 20th win of 2013 nearly an entire month earlier, topping Iowa on March 30 to improve to 20-3.

    - Sam Travis was named a Co-Big Ten Player of the Week by the Big Ten on Monday. It marks his second conference player of the week honor this season and the fourth of his career.

    - Indiana returns to Bart Kaufman Field this weekend, playing host to Illinois (17-7) for a three-game series running Friday (6 pm), Saturday (2 pm) and Sunday (1 pm).
