BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The first-place Indiana baseball team will host several promotions for this weekend's series against Big Ten foe Penn State. IU will take on the Nittany Lions at Sembower Field on Friday (3 p.m.), Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.). All Hoosier baseball games are free admission at Sembower Field.

Friday's game will see the Hoosiers host sorority Alpha Omicron Pi, which is featuring "Strike Out Arthritis Day." The group is using the game to call awareness to the ailment nationwide.

On Saturday, IU will host U.S. Army Day at Sembower. The Army will host a swearing in ceremony on the field prior to the game, and will also bring military vehicles and a climbing wall for pregame use.

Sunday's series finale will see the first 250 fans in attendance receive a free IU t-shirt. The Hoosiers have won nine of their last 11 and are 6-2 in conference action.

Indiana will also host its regular promotions for all three games. Every Hoosier strikeout will earn fans a t-shirt, and Mother Bear's will give out free food if IU strikes out at least eight opponents. Eight Ks for Indiana earns fans a free order of breadsticks, while 12 Ks gives all fans in attendance a free snack pack.
