BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head football coach Bill Lynch will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Friday afternoon's Indiana-Iowa game at Sembower Field. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
Lynch will also join Jeremy Gray and Matt Brady in the broadcast booth for the fourth inning on IUHoosiers.com.
The Indiana football team will close 2010 spring practice with its annual Cream & Crimson Spring Game on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and the event is free at Memorial Stadium.
The stadium will open at 5 p.m. and fans are asked to sit in the East stands. Parking and tailgating will be available for free in the Orange Lot beginning at 1 p.m.
Fans will have the option to cheer for the Cream or the Crimson this season. Two entrances - one for the Cream fans and one for the Crimson fans - will be open on the East side of Memorial Stadium.
The first 3,000 fans will receive a free Cream or Crimson T-shirt. Complimentary rosters will be available and the marketing department will be on hand to pass out the T-shirts, schedule cards and posters.
Additionally, Coach Lynch will address the crowd at halftime. The Athletic Ticket Office will also be on hand beginning at 3 p.m. on the East side of The Rock.
If you can't make it to The Rock, the game will be broadcast on WHCC 105.1 FM by Jeremy Gray.
Tracy Smith's baseball Hoosiers enter the weekend three-game series with a 16-15 record following an 11-2 victory over Valparaiso on Tuesday. First pitch on Saturday and Sunday is slated for 1 p.m.
