Evanston, Ill. -- The Indian baseball team completed a four-game sweep of Northwestern with a 6-4 victory Sunday.

Pitcher Brad Edwrds pitched 7 1/3 innings and allowed just 6 hits and two runs while striking out a career-high 11 to earn the victory.

Doug DeVore went 2-4 with an RBI and Jason Williams went 2-for-3 with a home run to lead the Indiana attack.

Edwards was releived in the eighth by Fred Graf who got the Hoosiers out of a two-on, one-out jam to preserve a 5-2 lead.

Chris Wilson picked up his fourth save of the series as he came on in the ninth after Graf allowed the first two hitters he faced to reach.

Edwards is now 4-0 while the save was Wilson's sixth of the season. The Hoosiers are noe 33-12 overall and 11-9 in the Big Ten. They are just one game out of the playoff picture.
